Behind The bridge
The “Behind the Bridge” is the latest phase of the Artist Mosaic project. Since 2003 we’ve explored individual components and theories as they relate to Creative Enterprise. While the project is centered offline we have always maintained a web presence.
In late 2007, we launched DeMarketPlace to explore virtual enterprise. After the first year the decision was taken to “ReGenesis”, a re-launch with a major diversion, a commitment to “rethink everything”. We’re re-focusing the center of our mission, on the artist rather than technology, as such, rather than ask “how can the artist use new technology?”
We asked
“What can technology do for the artist?
How can technology or the way we use it be adapted and adopted for use by society?”
BEHIND THE BRIDGE
“Testing theory through practice…”
Essentially is a format with a view towards a proactive approach in deciding how their businesses will operate in 2012, 2020 and beyond. Over the course of the next year through using the “fashion” sector we will draw that knowledge together.
Behind The Bridge – is Localized project that provides live testing platforms, in the Digital virtual and real worlds. “

Points of Trade:-
DeMarketplace.com is inspired by local ‘marketplaces’ where suppliers and traders come set up shop and locals come to trade. Each marketplace develops iits unique flavor from the cohesive collection of vendors and attendees. In this tradition, we use the phrase “living” to describe DeMarketplace. Each individual component stands on it’s own But as a whole is framed by the broader concept. WWW.DeMarketPlace.com is used to guide beginners (and some veterans) through what is possible, using technology. Sometimes the technology is behind the concept, sometimes we are unable to fully appreciate the technology. Often we are focused on offline activity. We are also presently training the participants so that they can add to the info that is provided

Solo
Why choose many artist prefer to promote their own store or brands, however we’ve found that clusters work better. Given the choice people choose where they have more options. However as an incubator we encourage each to learn n the fundamentals of digital commerce and establish their digital base. Check back for a list of sites
Collective
BFG LIVE- Offline Events that tend the artist and their brand
De gallery Store – Still in development the store will list and connect buyers to items available for immediate purchase in all five boroughs
DeWorkshop

Independent Learning and Training
Vcircle Lab-
A virtual incubator & an Independent learning environments study. In 2006-7 we had an opportunity to tests the core program, at the 4W Circle of Arts and Entertainment. At that point we identified
Creative/independent Enterprise Incubator-
Production incubator-
Retail Incubator-
Technology incubator
Not surprisingly these four areas correlate to with four areas of concern we identified at the start of our project. One of the few projects with practical experience in the development and establishment of incubator programs, we admittedly have strong view on these, and we are willing to work and share our experience with organizations.
An ideal situation would be a Vertical environments, one building accommodating all
for us a virtual model is a challenge but the benefits to society would be immeasurable!
