I have been planning the designer’s meetup for FashionCampNy and fielding tons of inquiries on Brooklyn Fashion Week. If you are now contemplating showing a line during Fashion Week is it ready!
So a couple days after my rant on Fashion Week the designers meeting sent “waves” through fashion press and blogs! My Favorite was the NEW York Observer Report! Exactly how out of touch with reality is this industry, read the reports your self!
The Traditional Fashion Week format has not been “working” for the average designer for years.
So to those asking for www.BrooklyFashionWeek.com we’ll be updating our site shortly with a call for participation, for events in October, direct to consumer and a “to trade” segment! In the Mean time make sure you prepare you line, Sales and press collateral!
