I generally have only one rule; do not ask my artist to drop their prices, unless you are willing to give your employer a 50% off your salary this holiday season! It’s not bargaining it’s disrepectful! They are fair and willing to work with you to ensure you have something they create!

A little Background ;- we are a community project designed to explore technology and how it can be adapted, adopted and integrated by small creative businesses we are an example of what we can achieve when we as a community works together!

We are entirely self funded, giving hands on workshops on the use, design and usability of newtechnology is what we do! We seldom advertise, the fact is fact word of mouth keep us busy! Lately we have noticed an increase in the number of adult heads of households in our community that are unemployed! We give workshops but without laptops and access to computers it is hard for many to truly grasp! There are also so many options for careers we are unaware of!

We even work with creative in France, and now Senegal Nigeria! Access and bridging that divide is our goal next year! so Add you name to our invite list for 2010 events

In many cases the “Digital Divide” is not necessarily just about the lack of access to technology, but a lack of understanding of it’s potential and a fear of the “unknown!” Education, workshops and outreach are all part of “BRIDGING THE DIVIDE”
