Chippin Support Local Designers & Artist

// April 20th, 2009 // Comments // Video, Web 2.0, crowdfunding, crowdsourcing, funding and Financing, input form

video management, video solution, video streaming

We’ve set up a chippin so that we can raise funds needed to help local desifgners and artist market.

At the end of the runway we sell.

A simple statement that defines what sets our program apart. All Artist and Designers participating in projects are financially responsible for there costs incurred, as well as actively participate in marketing. For the past four years, we have offered support in the form of free training and workshops. we have explored the applications of many theories in the “real” world.

This season we are exploring crowd sourcing and crowdfunding and their suitability and adaptability as business models within communities.

Each artist has committed to improving and expanding their product range and price structure. They also each commit to passing on the knowledge through workshops, seminars and taking on apprentices.
